God likes to prepare. He sent John the Baptist to prepare the way for Jesus.
The enemy loves to copy God, but for his own purposes. Rather than sending preparers, he sends saboteurs to harm people so that they're wary of what God may be bringing in.
God has plans to send good people and things into your life. Don't reject it out of fear or a negative experience.
This is for the person who God wants to release suspicion ahead of the blessings He's sending your way.
The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
“Prepare the way of the Lord; Make straight in the desert, a highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill brought low; the crooked places shall be made straight and the rough places smooth; the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
Isaiah 40:3-5
As always, take this word back to God for confirmation. Not every word is for everyone. Pray about it.
